Real goths and mall goths?!?!? help plz!!!?

im not one of those mall-goths, i like The Cure, and Sisters Of Mercy, and Souixsie and the Banshees, i know about the origions of goth, and i like dark literature and poetry and theater; but, i still like some popular mall-goth bands (marilyn manson, korn, ect), and i sometimes shop at hot topic, thats b/c i do not know how to sew and create my own unique clothes, does this make me a mall-goth?
