Why isn't Bon Jovi in the Rock and Roll hall of Fame?

Because 2009 is the first year they are eligible and I don't believe they are nominated for the first year of induction. But I do believe they will probably find their way in to the hall of fame at some point. I'm not the biggest Bon Jovi fan, but I truly believe they have helped change the music scene and have contributed some timeless songs that EVERYONE knows.
