Conservative Christians beleive in the rapture in 2012... how can you vote for that?

I couldn't. I don't understand how evangelical Christians can not be for enviormental conservation. Why wouldn't they want to help the Earth? What would be the negative of enviormental conservation? If global warming doesn't exist and we make the Earth cleaner than we just made the world cleaner. If it does exist and we do nothing we would destroy the world. I also don't understand how evangelical Christians can be for war. I thought Jesus was a pacifist and he preeched loving thy neighbor. If so then wouldn't war be anti-Christian? It seems to me that these people use Christianity falsly to cover up their real religion, GREED.
