Macbook pro buy or not?

I have had this white macbook for 3 years now and its starting to break down. I would buy a new macbook pro but I dont know if i should buy the version now or wait until they update them again. Im willing to use this old macbook if i knew that the next updates of macbook pro would come out in less than half a year. So maybe an rephrased question would be when would you speculate the next macbook series to come out?
