Do you think my father is a jerk?

Hi, I have a sick father too. finally after 30 years of verbal abuse I told him exactly what I feel and how he should behave if he wants to be in touch. however I don't live there anymore so can say more things than you perhaps because I do not depend on him anymore. he used to call me on the phone, curse me then tell me his 'daily achievement success storied' and can you believe I used to listen with admiration. now I stopped this because it is not good for my self confidence. well, an interesting thing happened: now he does not call me AT ALL! apparently I killed our relationship for him because all he liked is to use me so now he has no reason to call me and the truth came out. yes, your father is a big jerk. yes, mine is too. don’t let him affect your confidence. get advice from friends and psychologists. treat yourself first. good luck.
