Can two cats nurse one litter of kittens?

I have two cats who are twin sisters and both had kittens but one sisters kittens died and know one twin has her babies. Chole who is the mom of the kittens,( that are still alive)is allowing her twin sister to nurse some of her kittens. She had 6 kittens and is sharing 3 to her twin sister sadie.
